Auro Hotels is a leading hospitality company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Management Director to oversee the planning and execution of all events at our properties.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Direct and oversee the activities of Event staff in handling arrangements for and execution of all events.

• Effectively manage the availability of all banquet space and develop and implement marketing strategies to target off-peak dates.

• Establish, implement, and enforce Event department policies and procedures.

• Develop and oversee the training and development of the Event department.

• Interact with all departments and delegate job tasks.

• Oversee, execute contracts and payment/deposit requirements for all catered events. Service and oversee the servicing of all catering clients.

• Assign meeting space and estimate catering revenue for all sales groups which require catered functions.

• Monitor catering financial statements and ensure payroll is in line with revenue and all purchases are justified.

• Review all banquet checks and group reports after functions.

• Conduct tours of banquet area and other hotel areas.

• Order, oversee, and monitor all ordering of supplies and rental items for Catering Department.

• Assist in planning and execution of hotel-sponsored events.

• Ensure all catering services offered are up to Auro Hotels standards and priced in established guidelines.

• Solicit and procure Catering business comprised of groups.

**Requirements**

• Some college or better.

• 2-3 years: Food and beverage supervision and/or sales experience.
