EnSafe is expanding its workforce and is looking for a Senior Environmental Geologist, Engineer, or Scientist.

Our expertise encompasses a wide range of cleanups at military sites, Superfund locations, airports, and other commercial and governmental properties.

Position Overview

We seek a proactive Geologist/Engineer or Scientist who is recognized for their practical experience in conducting investigations and site evaluations while adhering to regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting Phase I/II environmental site evaluations
  • Developing comprehensive work plans
  • Executing site investigation tasks, including sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, vapor intrusion, soil gas, drinking water, biota, and building materials
  • Providing environmental compliance assistance to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permitting and regulatory compliance assessments
  • Documenting field activities
  • Assisting in the preparation of technical reports
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Geology, Engineering, or Environmental Science
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience (internships are beneficial)
  • Professional certifications such as GID, geotechnical, or geophysics experience are advantageous
  • Preferred certifications include EIT, PE, PG, with the ability to obtain licensure in other states
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Valid driver's license for vehicle operation in the U.S.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain background clearance
  • Willingness to travel regionally up to 35% annually, including overnight trips
