We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Florida. As a key member of our Transportation Construction, Engineering, and Inspection group, you will be responsible for leading and supervising construction inspection activities on various transportation infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise construction inspection activities on FDOT projects, including roadways, bridges, drainage, erosion control, and maintenance.
- Maintain relationships with clients and contractors to ensure construction activities are on schedule and meeting contract requirements.
- Estimate manpower needs, schedule, and assign work to meet completion date deadlines set by clients.
- Supervise the work of field inspection staff and plan, develop, coordinate, and direct large and complex construction projects.
- Participate in new business development and maintain existing client relationships.
- Act as a mentor for junior-level employees and assist in developing and implementing new strategies to enhance our CEI capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional engineering (PE) license.
- 12 years of related experience, or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
