Overview

The Fleet Parts Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the procurement, reception, cataloging, and inventory reconciliation of parts at a designated facility. This position is integral in processing Purchase Orders (POs) and vendor payment requests, ensuring that the correct parts are sourced from appropriate suppliers while maintaining optimal inventory levels to enhance customer service efficiency. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Compensation: Hourly | Paid Weekly

Required Experience: Prior experience with automotive or heavy-duty truck parts is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the physical inventory process, parts ordering, and receiving. Manage the processing of Purchase Orders and supplier invoices. Ensure that received parts are accurately recorded in the inventory system. Oversee parts obsolescence management. Coordinate the shipping of warranty claims and parts returns to suppliers. Maintain organization and cleanliness in the parts storage area.

Additional Duties:

Assist in cost management through adherence to effective parts processes and policies, along with other assigned tasks. Perform other responsibilities as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong follow-up capabilities. High level of accuracy in data entry and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or GED is required. A minimum of one year of experience in inventory and parts administration or clerical functions is preferred.
