POSITION DUTIES:


The Title IV, Part A Educational Grant Coordinator is primarily tasked with delivering support, guidance, and technical assistance in the execution and oversight of the Title IV, Part A: Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grant (SSAE) at both the local education agency (LEA) and State levels.

This role also involves identifying exemplary practices and evidence-based strategies aimed at enhancing student academic performance through comprehensive educational opportunities, initiatives promoting safe and healthy school environments, and the effective integration of technology to tailor student learning experiences and boost overall digital literacy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating coordination of grant-related initiatives across the Division.
  • Conducting research to pinpoint evidence-based strategies in educational opportunities, health initiatives, and technology utilization, while maintaining a repository of such strategies to inform training and technical assistance for schools and agencies.
  • Organizing meetings and workshops to provide leadership and technical support in line with directives from the immediate supervisor.
  • Contributing to efforts associated with the Title IV, Part A grant to ensure quality training and monitor the execution of grant activities.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of the Title IV, Part A application process.
  • Collecting and analyzing data on Title IV, Part A implementation and fund utilization for related activities.
  • Managing the Division's website focused on Student Support, Academic Enrichment, and Educational Policy.
  • Assisting in the formulation of the annual calendar and budget, and overseeing contracts for local, regional, and statewide training events.
  • Preparing and formatting reports, including text, charts, and graphs, to communicate program information and fulfill reporting obligations.
  • Reviewing and finalizing interim progress and annual reports regarding Title IV, Part A for State and federal education departments.
  • Supporting local Title IV, Part A site visit monitoring reviews.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:

A Master's degree or a minimum of 36 hours of equivalent post-baccalaureate coursework from an accredited institution.


Experience:
Three years of administrative or instructional experience in an educational program.

Notes:
Candidates may substitute a Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience for the required education.

SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS:

One year of experience in grant management within an educational context.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following qualifications:
Experience or education related to Student Support Services (school climate, behavioral health, counseling, etc.)
Experience in graphic design and website management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and related applications
Experience in data management and analytics
Experience in researching content and preparing reports or executive summaries
Experience in preparing and delivering presentations and training

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
