POSITION SUMMARY

As a Document Imaging Technician at Bank of Tennessee, you will play a crucial role in the efficient processing of documents into the Bank's imaging system. Your responsibilities will include the meticulous preparation, indexing, and auditing of physical paper files, along with the uploading of electronic documents. You will collaborate with various departments within the Bank, providing necessary documentation and ensuring a professional representation of the Bank at all times.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred experience includes six months in imaging and familiarity with various loan and deposit documents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Timely and accurate processing of documents into the imaging system.
  • Preparation, indexing, and auditing of paper files for document storage.
  • Editing and uploading of electronic files into the document storage system.
  • Imaging of loan files into the nCino loan workflow system.
  • Processing of loan, deposit, and other emails into the appropriate document storage system.
  • Timely handling of paper and electronic loan exceptions.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all received documents.
  • Potential travel to assist departments with document imaging needs.
  • Conducting audits of files for accuracy.
  • Providing assistance to team members as required.
  • Responding to requests for copies of documentation.
  • Meeting established deadlines consistently.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and bank policies, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.
  • Actively supporting the development of a culturally diverse workforce.
  • Completing additional duties as assigned by management that are reasonable and beneficial.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position primarily operates in a professional office environment. The employee will regularly communicate effectively with management and colleagues. Frequent use of telephone and email for communication is essential. Remaining stationary and operating a computer for extended periods is common. The ability to accurately gather and process verbal and written information and prepare or inspect documents is required. Occasional movement around the office is necessary, and the employee may need to lift items up to 25lbs and position themselves to access low spaces. Good manual dexterity is needed for the frequent use of office equipment such as computers, calculators, copiers, and Document Imaging equipment. Occasional travel may be required.
