POSITION SUMMARYWe are in search of a proactive, hands-on technical leader to take on the role of Head of Enterprise Security.
In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in protecting our varied business portfolio, ensuring the integrity of our premier broadcast operation centers, and assisting our teams in securing enterprise applications, systems, and endpoints.
This role encompasses managing existing security systems, implementing necessary enhancements, and exploring new technologies to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats. Your leadership and expertise will be critical in advancing our security initiatives and strengthening our defenses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Act as a hands-on technical leader, engaging in the design, implementation, and management of enterprise security solutions.
- Oversee the organization’s enterprise security tools and systems (e.g., SaaS collaboration tools, Identity & Access Management, Data Protection).
- Lead the design and execution of security initiatives to safeguard the organization.
- Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate proactively with technology and business leaders across the organization to ensure security controls and processes are integrated from the ground up.
- Research enhancements to existing tools and systems, ensuring we remain ahead of potential risks.
- Continuously monitor and analyze security trends, threats, and emerging technologies to proactively mitigate risks.
- Provide support and resources during security incidents, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the organization’s security posture, including insights, recommendations, and metrics.
- Serve as the primary contact for your domain, effectively liaising with security pillar leads and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
- Extensive experience with securing Okta.
- Proficient in securing Active Directory.
- Strong background in managing security for enterprise collaboration tools (O365, GSuite, Slack, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of Zero-Trust architectures and principles.
- Significant experience in managing the security of large endpoint fleets, including systems/tools such as EDR, MDM, DLP, etc.
- Robust network security experience.
- Strong cloud security experience, including leading cloud security tools.
- Up-to-date on the latest attack techniques and relevant mitigations.
- Prior experience with aligning to and being assessed by standards such as NIST-CSF.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve challenging enterprise-wide objectives.
- Hands-on approach is essential.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC, etc.
