About the Role

The Owens Corning Insulation Sales Development Program is a comprehensive 18-24 month development opportunity designed to recruit outstanding sales talent and provide a structured training curriculum in the Technical Insulation business units. As a Sales Development Program Specialist, you will be coached and mentored by sales leadership to develop competencies in Customer Operations, Sales Execution, Territory Management, Pricing Strategies, and Product Expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships through exceptional and reliable service.
  • Build and maintain relationships with owned or shared accounts, educating customers on products and services.
  • Utilize B2B and professional cold calling to contractors, distributors, and sheet metal shops.
  • Maintain customer contact lists and market intelligence data.
  • Achieve downstream selling and conversions by targeting and converting contractors, distributors, and downstream customers.
  • Use product knowledge to convert distribution sales and aid in creating marketing programs for field and customer promotions.
  • Develop a partnering relationship with team members, customers, and influencers to drive sales plan goals.
  • Attend customer and industry events to stay informed and network.
  • Provide customer pricing and job quotes, analyze market pricing and competitive scenarios, and utilize sales reporting tools to identify customer opportunities and track performance.
  • Participate in business initiatives, projects, and Kaizens to drive growth and improvement.
  • Gather and communicate competitive market intelligence and stay up-to-date on Owens Corning product offerings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in prior experiences (work or school related).
  • Must be willing to relocate.
