Position Summary:

We are looking for a Sales Associate to work closely with our New Home Sales Consultant (NHC) throughout the sales journey, facilitating the process of new home transactions.

In this role, you will acquire, practice, and enhance vital sales and marketing competencies while following company protocols and performance metrics.

Your responsibilities will include assisting the NHC in performing competitive market assessments, engaging with real estate agents, and ensuring the community's integrity on a daily basis. This position is an excellent opportunity for career progression towards the New Home Consultant (NHC) role and requires availability on weekends.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent M/I Homes with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Assist the NHC in formulating sales and marketing strategies to achieve division objectives.
  • Utilize sales techniques acquired through company training programs with potential customers.
  • Ensure timely and professional presentation of model homes and sites.
  • Accurately register customers and input their information.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing plans and materials for customer engagement.
  • Maintain cleanliness and accuracy of community signage.
  • Collaborate with the NHC on various sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will possess the following:

  • Ability to work independently and meet objectives with minimal oversight.
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other relevant software.
  • Preferred: Associate degree or equivalent training in sales and marketing.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in retail sales or related training.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, creativity, resilience, and self-motivation.
