Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Backroom Operations Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of inventory, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
  • Customer Service: Engage and interact with all customers to provide an excellent shopping experience.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the backroom area.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with peers and supervisors to achieve store goals and objectives.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
  • Productivity and Efficiency: Monitor and improve productivity of team members, and coach as necessary.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all labor laws, policies, and procedures, and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
