About the Role

The Regional Controller is a senior member of the regional leadership team, responsible for managing and coordinating budgeting, planning, financial reporting, and analysis activities for the regional business. This role requires strong technical accounting and analysis skills, as well as leadership and business partnering abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with finance and operational teams to deliver reporting and analysis to business leaders
• Providing advice and counsel to business leaders on the financial impacts of business decisions
• Collecting, analyzing, and compiling data from accounting and operational systems for monthly reporting
• Participating in initiatives to review, streamline, standardize, and enhance processes
• Directing the development, preparation, and maintenance of various financial and operational reports
• Ensuring controls are in place to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and statutory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline
• 10-15 years of work experience in a similar role
• Accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, or CPA)
• Strong technical accounting and analysis skills
• Leadership and business partnering abilities
• Experience in the Building Materials industry is preferred
