Position Overview: Senior Economic Empowerment Specialist

The Senior Economic Empowerment Specialist is crucial in orchestrating economic mobility services within our "EEP+" initiative. This program is designed to support survivors of gender-based violence in improving their economic circumstances through focused skills training, vocational assistance, educational resources, and job placement support. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Director to develop and execute economic mobility programs, foster partnerships with various organizations and businesses, deliver direct client services, and ensure that program objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically develop economic mobility programming tailored for survivors of gender-based violence
  • Oversee training initiatives aimed at promoting economic empowerment
  • Establish collaborations with community organizations, employers, and businesses
  • Deliver direct client services, including job search assistance, career guidance, and case management
  • Monitor service plans to address the economic mobility needs of survivors
  • Work in conjunction with internal Sanctuary providers to ensure client stability and support
  • Undertake additional duties and special projects as required

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred in a relevant field
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination or a related area
  • Experience in workforce development and cooperative initiatives is preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
  • A strong commitment to serving at-risk populations and combating gender-based violence

Position Details:

Salary: $65,813 - $72,698 annually

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position with a hybrid work schedule.
