Position Overview: Senior Economic Empowerment Specialist

The Senior Economic Empowerment Specialist is essential in orchestrating economic mobility initiatives through our specialized program. This role is centered on supporting survivors of gender-based violence in improving their economic circumstances through tailored skills training, vocational assistance, educational resources, and job placement services. In this capacity, you will work closely with the Senior Director to conceptualize and execute economic mobility strategies, forge partnerships with community organizations and businesses, deliver direct client services, and ensure that program objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically developing economic mobility initiatives for survivors of gender-based violence
  • Coordinating training programs aimed at economic empowerment
  • Establishing collaborations with community organizations, employers, and businesses
  • Delivering direct client services, including job search assistance, career guidance, and case management
  • Overseeing service plans to address the economic mobility needs of survivors
  • Collaborating with internal Sanctuary teams to ensure client stability and support
  • Executing additional duties and special projects as required

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred in a relevant field
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination or a related area
  • Experience in workforce development and cooperative initiatives is preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
  • A commitment to serving vulnerable populations and addressing gender-based violence

Position Details:

Salary: $65,813 - $72,698 annually

Full-time position; Salaried/Exempt

Hybrid work schedule available
