Our organization is dedicated to eradicating gender violence through a variety of comprehensive services, outreach initiatives, training, and advocacy efforts across multiple locations.
Position Overview: Senior Economic Empowerment Specialist
The Senior Economic Empowerment Specialist is crucial in managing economic mobility initiatives through our specialized program. This role is designed to support survivors of gender-based violence in improving their economic prospects through focused skills training, vocational guidance, educational opportunities, and employment support. In this position, you will work closely with the Senior Director to create and execute economic mobility strategies, foster collaborations with community organizations and businesses, deliver direct client services, and ensure that program objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing strategic economic mobility programs tailored for survivors of gender-based violence
- Overseeing training programs aimed at economic empowerment
- Establishing partnerships with community entities, employers, and businesses
- Delivering direct client services, including job search assistance, career guidance, and case management
- Tracking service plans to address the economic mobility needs of survivors
- Collaborating with internal Sanctuary teams to ensure client support and stability
- Performing additional duties and special projects as required
Qualifications:
- Preferred Master's degree in a relevant field
- Required fluency in both Spanish and English
- At least 3 years of experience in program coordination or a related area
- Experience in workforce development and cooperative initiatives is preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Dedication to serving vulnerable populations and combating gender-based violence
Position Details:
Salary: $65,813 - $72,698 annually
Full-time role; Salaried/Exempt
