Spring EQ is currently looking for a full-time, seasoned Team Lead for our Third Party Origination Operations Account Management team.

The Team Lead will act as a subject matter expert and primary supervisor for the account management and processing department.


The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in guiding home loan processing, managing work distribution, reviewing pipelines, and providing performance coaching.

This individual will also serve as an escalation point to address system and process challenges that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the team of loan processors
Coach and develop loan processors
Monitor performance metrics of loan processors
Oversee processor pipelines
Provide assistance on loan files during processor absences
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, underwriting, and closing teams on escalations
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
Conduct quality checks on loan files submitted to underwriting and provide constructive feedback
Maintain a manageable pipeline of 5 to 10 loans
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the home lending sector
At least 3 years of experience as a Loan Processor required
2 years of team lead experience is preferred
Strong understanding of mortgage compliance regulations
Experience with Conventional loans
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to solving complex business challenges
