Flexible Part-Time and Full-Time positions available. A minimum commitment of 2 shifts per week is required (32 hours over a 2-week pay period).

Available Days:

Monday-
Friday Core Hours: 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. This role provides essential clinical assistance to healthcare professionals, ensuring the provision of high-quality medical services. Team members in the Ambulatory
  • Resource Center will deliver temporary clinical staffing support across numerous healthcare practices.
Assignments may range from a single day (to cover unexpected absences, scheduled leave, etc.) to several months (to fill in for extended leaves or vacant positions). Some travel to various sites may be necessary, with the aim of keeping team members close to their residences while fulfilling operational needs.

Team members will not be required to travel over 45 miles (one way) from their home address to their work location.

Mileage reimbursement is available when travel meets specific criteria.

Collaborates with the entire healthcare team, as appropriate, and employs assessment skills to gather information regarding patients' actual or potential health status.

Utilizes their expertise and skills as delegated by the provider to work collaboratively to prevent when possible, and mitigate when necessary, existing physiological complications related to specific health issues and/or medical treatments.


Key Responsibilities:
+ Rooming patients (collecting vital signs, chief complaints, and medical histories, medication reconciliation) + Preparing patients for examinations and/or assisting physicians during assessments + Conducting Point of Care (POC) testing, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and wound care + Preparing and administering medications, including immunizations/injections + Updating patient electronic medical records (Epic) + Cleaning and stocking examination rooms + Answering phone calls and managing patient encounters + Handling prescription medication refills and other clinical administrative tasks (chart preparation, Epic In-basket management)

Qualifications:
+ Graduate of an accredited paramedic program + Skills, knowledge, and abilities typically acquired through less than 2 years of experience as a paramedic + Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program + Paramedic License (PARAMEDIC) required upon hire + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days

+ 3 years of relevant experience as a Paramedic preferred
