Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and complete necessary paperwork, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
- Take vital signs and document patient information in our electronic medical records system.
- Assist with examinations and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Implement provider orders, including immunizations, testing, and lab specimen collection.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers, providing exceptional customer service.
- Manage clinic flow, ensuring timely and efficient patient care.
- Prepare charts for visits, file patient information, and assist with medical records duties.
- Retrieve and distribute test results, updating patient charts accordingly.
- Contact patients to schedule appointments and provide reminders.
- Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the overall success of our healthcare team.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) is required, with acceptable certifications including CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, or NAMAP.
- Basic typing skills and proficiency in computer software systems.
- Basic Life Support/CPR training, certification, or the ability to become certified.
