Job Opportunity

EMS of Virginia (Educating, Mentoring, Success) is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide Intensive In-home and Mental Health Skill Building Services in the greater Richmond area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health counseling to clients in their homes and community settings
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to meet client needs
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and community resources to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor client progress
  • Document all interactions and services provided in client records
  • Participate in regular team meetings and supervision to ensure quality care

Requirements:

  • Registered with the Department of Health Professions as a QMHP-A and/or QMHP-C
  • Experience working with adults and children with serious mental illness
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
