Job Title: Mental Health Counselor QMHP A/C

At EMS of Virginia (Educating, Mentoring, Success), we are seeking a qualified Mental Health Counselor QMHP A/C to join our team. As a Mental Health Counselor QMHP A/C, you will provide intensive in-home and mental health skill-building services to adults with serious mental illness in the greater Richmond area.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor QMHP A/C to provide high-quality services to our clients. As a Mental Health Counselor QMHP A/C, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized service plans, provide one-on-one mental health counseling, and facilitate skill-building groups. You will also be responsible for completing quarterly reports, progress notes, and other documentation as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide intensive in-home and mental health skill-building services to adults with serious mental illness
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans
  • Provide one-on-one mental health counseling
  • Facilitate skill-building groups
  • Complete quarterly reports, progress notes, and other documentation as required
Requirements:
  • Must be registered with the Department of Health Professions as a QMHP-A and/or QMHP-C
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Must have experience working with adults with serious mental illness
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
