Position: Product Engineer

Key Responsibilities and Performance Evaluation Criteria:

1. Execute customer-defined actions to finalize component manufacturing documentation and secure necessary approvals, ensuring qualification as a production source for specific products. Collaborate with customer technical teams to identify the most efficient and cost-effective components to meet customer specifications.

2. Analyze and initiate corrective measures for manufacturing challenges encountered during product fabrication and related inspection and testing issues.

3. Define equipment specifications, enhance manufacturing processes, and introduce innovative production equipment. Work closely with design teams to ensure compatibility between processes and designs.

4. Assess and review engineering modifications and other specification requirements, serving as a technical liaison with production planning and engineering teams.

5. Suggest modifications to development and design processes to enhance product quality and operational procedures.

6. Create engineering schematics and parts lists for system components to streamline manufacturing planning.

7. Offer advisory support in analyzing and evaluating production practices with a focus on work simplification, value analysis, workstation efficiency, and methods analysis. Compile and assess testing and production data, prepare technical analyses, and recommend production methods and processes to achieve design objectives for new or improved products and processes. Conduct method and time standards analysis.

8. Potentially lead targeted product and process improvement initiatives.

9. Demonstrate the ability to fulfill commitments in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5-7 years of relevant experience or equivalent knowledge.

2. Familiarity with a diverse range of concepts within the engineering field.

3. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

4. Proficiency in computer applications is required, including general MS Office applications, technical modeling, and statistical tools.

Compensation: $85,000.00 to $100,000.00 annually
