Position: Product Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute customer-defined actions to finalize component manufacturing documentation and secure necessary approvals, qualifying as a production source for specific items. Collaborate with customer technical teams to define the most efficient and cost-effective components to meet requirements.

2. Analyze and initiate corrective measures for manufacturing issues that arise during product fabrication and associated inspection and testing challenges.

3. Define equipment specifications, enhance manufacturing processes, and introduce innovative production equipment. Work closely with design teams to ensure compatibility between processes and designs.

4. Assess engineering modifications and other specification needs, serving as a technical liaison with production planning and engineering teams.

5. Suggest modifications to development and design processes to enhance product quality and operational procedures.

6. Create engineering schematics and parts lists for system components to aid in manufacturing planning.

7. Offer advisory support in analyzing and evaluating production practices, focusing on work simplification, value analysis, and methods analysis. Compile and assess test and production data, conduct technical analyses, and recommend production methods and processes to achieve design objectives for new or improved products and processes. Perform method and time standards analysis.

8. Potentially lead targeted product and process improvement initiatives.

9. Demonstrate the ability to fulfill commitments efficiently and timely.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5-7 years of relevant experience or equivalent knowledge.

2. Familiarity with various concepts within the engineering field.

3. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

4. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office, technical modeling, and statistical tools.

Compensation: $85,000.00 to $100,000.00 annually.
