Job DescriptionOverview: TekWissen Group is a workforce management provider throughout the USA and many other countries in the world. Our Client is a manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices. They operate through two segments: Electronic Instruments and Electromechanical. The Electronic Instruments segment designs and manufactures analytical, test, and measurement instrumentation for various markets. The Electromechanical segment provides automation and precision motion control solutions, as well as electrical interconnects, specialty metals, and thermal management systems.

Position: Assembler
Work Type: Onsite
Shift: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM (Mon-Fri)

Position Summary:
  • This role is responsible for executing a variety of mechanical assembly tasks to construct both large and small components according to precise specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assembly, rework, and inspection processes in the production of finished goods.
  • Utilize hand tools, fixtures, pneumatic devices, manual presses, and power tools for component assembly.
  • Follow verbal and documented work instructions, bills of materials, established guidelines, and complex assembly drawings.
  • Employ various precision measuring instruments and test equipment to ensure proper functionality and operation of assemblies.
  • Maintain control over materials required for the assembly process.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Perform cleaning duties for equipment and work areas.
  • Adhere to established procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work under supervision and perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; one to three years of manufacturing experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to perform various assembly and soldering operations manually.
  • Reasonable dexterity in hands to manipulate small components.
  • Capability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
Additional Requirements:
  • This position requires both independent and collaborative work.
  • Ability to lift weights ranging from 20-50 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.
  • May require prolonged periods of standing or sitting, up to 8 hours daily.
  • Good manual dexterity and visual acuity are essential.
  • Use of various equipment, including hand tools and calibrated measuring devices, is required.
  • Exposure to industrial cleaning chemicals and oils may occur.
