Production Assembler
Compensation:
$17.25 per hour
Schedule:
1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Role Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for executing a variety of mechanical assembly tasks to construct both large and small components in accordance with precise specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assembly, rework, and inspection processes to produce finished goods.
- Employ hand tools, fixtures, pneumatic devices, manual presses, and power tools for component assembly.
- Interpret verbal and written instructions, including bills of materials, established guidelines, complex assembly drawings, and blueprints.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to ensure proper functionality of assemblies.
- Manage materials required for assembly operations.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing productivity, quality, and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
- Adhere to established procedures and quality/safety standards.
- Uphold a safe working environment.
- Work under supervision and perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform various assembly and soldering tasks manually.
- Dexterity in handling small components is essential.
- Capability to read and interpret blueprints is required.
- Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
Additional Requirements:
- This role involves both independent and collaborative work.
- Must be able to lift weights ranging from 20-50 lbs occasionally, 10-25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, up to 8 hours daily.
- Good manual dexterity and visual acuity are required.
