Job Title:
Production Assembler

Compensation:
$17.25 per hour
Schedule:
1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Role Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for executing a variety of mechanical assembly tasks to construct both large and small components in accordance with precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assembly, rework, and inspection processes to produce finished goods.
  • Employ hand tools, fixtures, pneumatic devices, manual presses, and power tools for component assembly.
  • Interpret verbal and written instructions, including bills of materials, established guidelines, complex assembly drawings, and blueprints.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to ensure proper functionality of assemblies.
  • Manage materials required for assembly operations.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
  • Adhere to established procedures and quality/safety standards.
  • Uphold a safe working environment.
  • Work under supervision and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to perform various assembly and soldering tasks manually.
  • Dexterity in handling small components is essential.
  • Capability to read and interpret blueprints is required.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.

Additional Requirements:
  • This role involves both independent and collaborative work.
  • Must be able to lift weights ranging from 20-50 lbs occasionally, 10-25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, up to 8 hours daily.
  • Good manual dexterity and visual acuity are required.
