About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Production Specialist to join our team at Essity. In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacturing of high-quality wound care products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture foam necessary in the production of various wound care products
  • Adhere to good manufacturing/documentation practices and/or relevant ISO/regulatory standards
  • Ensure that all relevant quality paperwork is completed, including work orders and cleaning logs
  • Comply with OSHA safety and health rules and establish a safety-first mindset
  • The orderly storage of work in progress, including proper identification of lot designation and product status
  • Maintain facility and production area cleanliness
  • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding improvements to methods and procedures in assigned areas
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Comfortable with wearing full-face respirator during shift
  • Requires ability to perform general math computations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in internal settings
  • Requires ability to take initiative to solve problems
  • Ability to lift to approximately 60 lbs and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during shift with appropriate rest and meal breaks
