As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of CNC machining programs, ensuring the highest level of precision and quality in our products.
Key Responsibilities- CNC Program Development: Design, develop, and implement CNC machining programs for various parts and products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Tool Management: Maintain and optimize tooling systems, including tool wear monitoring and tool offset calculations.
- Quality Control: Conduct precision measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Training and Coaching: Provide training and coaching to production staff on CNC machining best practices and safety procedures.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in CNC machining and programming, with a strong background in CNC lathe and mill operations.
- Skills: Advanced skills in Mastercam and SolidWorks, as well as experience with DNC systems and precision measurement tools.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Certifications: ISO/AS quality system certifications a plus.
- ERP System Experience: Experience with ERP systems, particularly Epicor, a plus.
- Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a leadership role, with a focus on training and coaching.
