Department: Food and Beverage Services

Reports to: Concessions Supervisor

Job Type: Seasonal Part-time

Position Summary: The Concession Operations Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that concession stands are well-stocked and organized during events. This position involves the transportation of supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and assisting with the setup and dismantling of concession areas to guarantee efficient operations and high-quality guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver supplies to concession stands as required to maintain adequate stock levels during events.
  • Oversee inventory levels at concession stands and coordinate with the Concessions Supervisor for timely replenishment.
  • Assist in the preparation and teardown of concession areas, including the arrangement of supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure all supplies are managed and stored in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Keep work areas in storage and concession locations clean and orderly.
  • Support concession staff with additional tasks to promote effective service.
  • Exhibit excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols while executing job responsibilities.
  • Safely operate utility carts or other equipment when moving supplies.
  • Communicate efficiently with concession personnel and management to resolve any supply-related issues promptly.

  • Ability to engage with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management, and guests in a clear, professional, and respectful manner that fosters a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Capability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven setting.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and supply chain logistics.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport heavy items as necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar capacity within the food and beverage or event management sectors.
  • Understanding of concession operations and inventory oversight.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic familiarity with health and safety regulations pertaining to food and beverage service.

Compensation: $14.00 per hour plus tips. This role typically involves a 35-hour work week.
