Role Summary: The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the concession operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality. This position involves supervising personnel, facilitating daily activities, and stepping in during peak times or staff shortages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of both permanent and mobile concession stands, bars, and vending operations during events.
  • Assist in determining food, beverage, and operational requirements for both event and non-event days.
  • Supervise and guide all concession and bar staff, including training in preparation, service, clean-up, and inventory management to uphold quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, security, and sanitation regulations.
  • Implement responsible alcohol service protocols.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and controls.
  • Familiarize oneself with food and beverage service equipment.
  • Effectively manage in a dynamic, diverse environment with a focus on client satisfaction and business growth.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in essential computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and POS systems.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards.
  • Participate in meetings to stay informed about food and beverage needs.
  • Address any issues to maintain effective service during events.
  • Manage logistics for beverage program production.
  • Supervise staff during events.
  • Resolve operational challenges at event sites.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Handle basic accounting during settlement processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills to interact positively with employees, management, and guests.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Exceptional customer service skills aimed at enhancing guest experiences.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Competence in operating POS systems and managing transactions.
  • Basic math skills for payment processing and sales reconciliation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in food and beverage supervision, particularly in concession settings.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google applications.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour, typically based on a 35-hour work week.
