Position Title: Frozen Beverage Specialist
Department: Food and Beverage Services
Reports to: Concessions Supervisor
Employment Type: Seasonal Part-time
Position Summary: The Frozen Beverage Specialist is responsible for crafting and serving a variety of frozen drinks, coffee, and other refreshments to patrons in a welcoming and efficient manner. This role includes operating beverage equipment, ensuring product excellence, maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding customer service.
Core Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and process orders for frozen beverages, coffee, and other drinks.
- Prepare and serve beverages according to company standards to ensure quality and consistency.
- Operate beverage machinery, including frozen drink dispensers and coffee brewing equipment.
- Verify and check identification for serving alcoholic beverages, if necessary.
- Handle transactions from guests, ensuring precision and utilizing POS systems effectively.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, following health and sanitation protocols.
- Familiarize yourself with the product menu and assist guests with beverage selections.
- Support in setting up, cleaning, and dismantling the beverage station at the start and end of shifts.
- Exhibit excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Adhere to sanitation, health, and safety regulations in all work areas.
- Ensure all equipment and workspaces are cleaned and stored properly at the end of shifts.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and guests in a professional and respectful manner.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and cash reconciliation.
- Familiarity with beverage preparation tools and techniques.
- Exceptional customer service abilities and a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a barista or beverage service role.
- Understanding of beverage preparation and presentation standards.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash management.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
Compensation: $17.00 per hour plus tips. This role typically encompasses a 35-hour work week.
