Department: Food and Beverage Services

Reports To: F&B Operations Manager / Director of F&B

Job Type: Seasonal Part-time

Position Summary: The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the concession operations, ensuring optimal service delivery and adherence to quality standards. This position involves supervising team members, assisting with daily operational tasks, and stepping in during peak periods or staff shortages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of both permanent and mobile concession stands, bars, and vending locations during events.
  • Support the setup of food, beverage, and operational requirements for various occasions.
  • Supervise and guide all concession and bar staff, including training in preparation, service, and cleanliness to uphold quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and sanitation regulations.
  • Implement responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and manage stock controls.
  • Familiarize with food and beverage service equipment.
  • Effectively manage in a dynamic, diverse environment, prioritizing client and guest satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in essential computer skills, including Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ensure all food and beverage operations meet safety and security standards.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in meetings to stay informed about food and beverage requirements.
  • Take necessary actions to enhance service quality during events.
  • Manage logistics for beverage program execution.
  • Supervise staff during events.
  • Address challenges that arise at event sites and respond to operational needs.
  • Keep accurate records of inventory and sales.
  • Handle basic accounting during settlement processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Effective communication skills with employees, management, and guests to foster a positive work environment.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong customer service orientation focused on enhancing guest experiences.
  • Able to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with POS systems and transaction handling.
  • Basic mathematical skills for payment processing and sales reconciliation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in food and beverage supervision, particularly in concession settings.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour, typically based on a 35-hour work week.
