We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Sales Representative to join our team at PeopleShare Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with property and casualty insurance brokers in the Maryland area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Match existing agent relationships and books of business opportunities
  • Recommend new commercial lines distribution partners in the territory
  • Pursue, upsell, cross-sell, and recapture opportunities with agencies and brokers
  • Coordinate new business proposal meetings with key accounts
  • Review competitor plans to ensure best pricing offered
  • Lead annual planning process and implement and monitor throughout the year
  • Review underwriting appetite and services with agencies and brokers
  • Attend point of sale meetings with agencies and brokers
Requirements:
  • Sales-oriented with experience and a successful track record selling standard commercial lines products
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with others to explain complex issues
  • Full knowledge of all commercial lines standard insurance products and usages
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, tasks, and requests
  • Results-oriented with the ability to meet strategic goals
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (High School Diploma or GED required)
  • Minimum 5 years' commercial insurance company experience in insurance industry, specifically in Commercial Lines Marketing, Sales, Production Underwriting, Distribution, and/or Relationship Management
Benefits:

This position offers a generous base salary of $85,000 to $95,000 (commensurate with relevant experience) with a quarterly and annual incentive opportunity that has the potential to add a significant amount to your total compensation annually. You are also eligible for our incredible benefits package, which includes a 401k with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 8% with immediate vesting and an additional employer contribution after the first year that grows to an additional 6% over 15 years of service.
