Job Summary

The Account Executive - Indirect Retail role serves as the primary liaison between Spectrum and our Indirect Retailer portfolio. This position is responsible for growing revenues by maximizing sales through effective management of the day-to-day relationship with assigned book of business, ensuring representation of the Spectrum brand while protecting the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the implementation and compliance of policies and procedures for new and existing business
  • Monitor vendor performance and implement process improvements
  • Build strong vendor relationships and ensure daily execution of assigned retail territory
  • Provide account management, including audits, field visits, training, business reviews, product knowledge support, customer concerns, brand compliance, and merchandising
  • Conduct regular meetings, trainings, and account reviews with assigned partners to ensure they are maximizing Spectrum sales and meeting quality standards and KPIs
  • Maintain knowledge of current products, services, promotions, and offerings to ensure delivery and understanding to assigned partners
  • Collaborate with owners from assigned partners to create and manage growth plans
  • Work with Operations, Strategy, and divisional teams to ensure alignment with department and company objectives
  • Coordinate and assist with special events, oversee staffing, merchandising, and sales execution
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Sales presentation skills, problem-solving capabilities, organized, and demonstrated initiative
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Comfort utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Travel frequently within the assigned territory
  • Flexibility to work retail hours and adjust schedule as needed based on assigned partners' needs and to maximize sales opportunities
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid and active State driver's license and safe driving record, as required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual a plus
