Job Overview

Spectrum is seeking a highly motivated Business Account Executive to join our team. As a Business Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals. They will also possess excellent sales and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet or exceed performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses
  • Develop and implement a Territory Plan to expand the customer base within the assigned territory
  • Generate all sales leads through various prospecting tactics and work every lead from initial contact to sale
  • Have a complete understanding of Spectrum Business coax services, rates, and applicable taxes
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Knowledge of communications technologies and services
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model
  • Business-to-business sales experience
  • Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets
