Position Overview:
As a vital member of the Engineering Team, the individual will engage in a comprehensive array of maintenance and engineering tasks, employing independent judgment to apply established procedures and practices to various work scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance in alignment with technical diagrams, operational manuals, and manufacturer specifications for machinery and mechanical systems, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
  • Dismantle equipment to access and replace defective components using appropriate tools.
  • Inspect components to assess changes in dimensional specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Adjust operational parts of machinery and control instruments with hand tools and measuring devices.
  • Repair or substitute faulty parts utilizing hand and power tools.
  • Install specialized functional and structural components in machinery.
  • Initiate machinery to evaluate performance and conduct routine lubrication and cleaning of parts.
  • May operate metalworking tools to fabricate and repair components.
  • Request necessary supplies, materials, and tools for maintenance tasks.
  • Possibly repair electrical systems and ensure proper handling and storage of tools and equipment.
  • Perform bearing analysis and installation.
  • Analyze electrical circuits and wiring diagrams, installing and maintaining electrical devices and systems to prevent overload.
  • Weld various metals to repair or create metal structures using appropriate equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on power supply systems and air compressors to ensure reliability.
  • Respond to emergency repair calls as required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational education in Industrial Engineering is preferred.
  • Prior experience in industrial engineering is advantageous.
  • Night shift availability is essential.
  • Previous safety training is preferred.

Physical Demands:
Ability to perform various physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting up to 75 pounds on occasion. Frequent overhead reaching and climbing may be required.
