Job Summary
In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving operational issues with ready-mix trucks, performing necessary repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance to uphold our commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with ready-mix trucks and determine required repairs.
- Perform essential mechanical and electrical repairs, including work on brakes, tires, clutches, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance, ensuring optimal operation and preventing equipment failures.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and review inspection sheets for compliance.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate welding equipment for repairs on trucks and related machinery.
- Order necessary parts and supplies for maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
We seek candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, along with additional training in mobile equipment maintenance and repair. A minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred.
Successful candidates will possess:
- Strong knowledge of mechanics and electronics related to heavy mobile equipment.
- Ability to perform various mechanical and electrical repair tasks.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and welding equipment safely and effectively.
