Role Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Crisis Therapist - Rapid Response Clinician to be an integral part of our Crisis team. The Clinician will be tasked with conducting a comprehensive clinical evaluation of a child referred by relevant authorities. This evaluation will encompass a developmental assessment for children aged 0-5, an analysis of their current living situation to identify needs, and the provision of necessary resources to ensure the child's overall stability (ages 0-18). The Clinician will also perform risk assessments and therapeutic interventions, including de-escalation techniques, crisis support, and behavioral management strategies in collaboration with caregivers and facility staff. This role will involve both community and facility-based work, with responsibilities including making referrals to community partners for ongoing support. Timely completion of clinical documentation and coordination with relevant authorities is essential. *Flexibility to work during Days, Nights, and Weekends is required.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree in a Behavioral Health field is mandatory.
  • Experience in the behavioral health sector, particularly with children in care systems, is essential.
  • Familiarity with the Children's RBHA system is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills are necessary.
  • Possession of a Fingerprint clearance card or eligibility to obtain one is required.
  • A valid driver's license with no significant infractions in the past three years is necessary.
  • Access to reliable transportation is a must.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age at the time of employment.

  • Ability to maintain composure in crisis situations, work independently and collaboratively, recognize personal limitations, and engage empathetically with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Uphold professional conduct consistent with ethical standards and organizational policies.
  • Foster positive working relationships with team members, stakeholders, and community partners.
  • For those driving during work hours, a valid Arizona driver's license and appropriate insurance coverage are required.
  • All direct client service staff must be at least 21 years old, while support service staff must be at least 18 years old.
