Position Overview:

The Patient Care Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering essential daily nursing care and services to assigned residents, adhering to their individualized assessment and care plans, while also following directives from the supervising nurse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine nursing care to residents as per their care plans.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Required Qualifications:

Within 30 days of employment:
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Completion of 70 hours of Basic Training within 120 days.
  • Dementia Specialty Training within 120 days.
  • Mental Health Specialty Training within 120 days.

Within 90 days of employment:
  • Nurse Delegation for Nursing Assistants training.
  • WA Food Worker Card.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7.5 hours of AIDS-related training upon hire.
