About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Consultant to join our team at RELX. As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between technology and customer needs through impactful product demonstrations and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of SciBite technologies and industry trends to support customer needs
  • Conduct detailed product demonstrations and technical discussions to showcase SciBite's capabilities and value and understand customer requirements
  • Provide proactive technical support to licensed customers, including creating technical documentation and resources
  • Act as a trusted advisor for customers, maintaining ongoing relationships and ensuring their satisfaction, including responding to any technical concerns
  • Work closely with the sales team to drive new business development opportunities
  • Attend meetings as a technical expert, capturing customer use-cases and project requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth post-sales processes
  • Support the product team in qualifying and prioritizing customer feedback for product feature development
Requirements
  • Ability to quickly become an expert in SciBite solutions
  • Ability to articulate the value of SciBite solutions during technical demos
  • Working knowledge of Generative AI, NLP, ontologies, and knowledge graphs. AWS, Docker and programming languages like Python would be preferred
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience leading difficult conversations with diverse audiences
  • Ability to perform requirement analysis and mapping requirements to deliverables
  • Preferred experience working with Pharma companies
  • Open to travel to customer sites and conferences
