The Territory Manager at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. is responsible for promoting the company's dermatology portfolio and optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, clinics, and institutions specializing in medical dermatology. This role requires developing and implementing territory business plans to achieve sales goals and objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with the HQ Commercial Team and field-based employees to drive acceptance of promoted products within a designated business area and geography.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement territory business plans to achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Coordinate with the HQ Commercial Team and field-based employees to drive acceptance of promoted products
  • Manage promotional budgets within the territory
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales experience
  • Strong communication and business acumen skills
  • Ability to collaborate, innovate, and deliver results
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Experience selling products in a complex market access environment
  • Experience promoting high-science products
  • Product launch experience
  • Experience selling in a highly competitive environment

This individual must have a positive attitude and be adaptable to a dynamic environment while maintaining focus on achieving territory business goals. They should be highly motivated and professional, capable of building trust with their matrix team and transparent, ethical, and compliant in all their activities.

General Responsibilities/Decision Making Authority:

  • Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager
  • Responsible for understanding and leveraging CRM, sales data, and reports
  • Responsible for timely call reporting and expense reporting
  • Responsible for managing promotional budgets within the territory
  • Responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals

Supervision Received: Reports to Regional Sales Manager

Interactions with Others: Interacts at multiple levels inside and outside the company. Tact, diplomacy, and a high level of professionalism are essential.
