Document Control Specialist

Columbia Energy is seeking a skilled Document Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering and fabrication company, you will be responsible for managing project documents and records, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and contractual obligations.
This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders. If you have a passion for document control and a commitment to quality and safety, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Manage document control processes to ensure compliance with Department of Energy (DOE) directives and NQA-1 standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure document control workflows align with quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and reporting of quality assurance activities to ensure project success.
- Oversee the distribution, revision, and archiving of project documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NQA-1 and other regulatory guidelines.
- Support the development and delivery of comprehensive documentation packages to clients, ensuring all records are complete and compliant.
- Assist with change control processes, tracking document revisions and approvals in line with established project procedures.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to support the success of project documentation and records management.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on document control processes to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
