Power Electronics Research Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Electronics Research Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a key member of our Research and Advanced Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing low-voltage (LV) circuits and ASICs for traction inverter applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop LV circuits and ASICs for traction inverter applications
- Research and develop new technologies and techniques for power electronics and ASIC design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test LV circuits and ASICs
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in power electronics and ASIC design
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in power electronics and LV circuit design
- 3+ years of experience in ASIC design and development
- Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design
- Experience with EDA tools and IC design flow
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- PHD degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field
- Experience with MATLAB, PLECS, Simplorer, and SPICE
- Knowledge of high-voltage systems and high-temperature circuit design
- Understanding of automotive applications and requirements
- Experience with project management tools
