  • Ensure the precision of all employee information within the payroll and time-tracking systems.

  • Identify potential issues proactively and suggest effective solutions.
  • Recommend enhancements for payroll processes and systems.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with external vendors, particularly in payroll solutions.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams on budgetary matters and financial reporting.
  • Manage the entry and auditing of new hires, status changes, terminations, and other payroll-related adjustments.
  • Conduct thorough audits of timecards prior to payroll execution.
  • Prepare, review, and disseminate payroll reports.
  • Handle wage garnishments, child support orders, and tax levies efficiently.
  • Resolve payroll and tax reporting discrepancies as they arise.
  • Possess the ability to commute to our corporate office as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management and processing.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll, accounting, and relevant regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Proficient in payroll processing software, particularly Paylocity.
  • Payroll certifications, such as CPP, are highly regarded.
  • Experience in managing payroll for multi-site and multi-state organizations.
  • Familiarity with integrating payroll systems during organizational acquisitions.
  • Experience in developing and monitoring company-wide payroll budgets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, along with excellent communication skills.
  • Capability to troubleshoot payroll issues proactively and assess root causes to provide effective solutions.
