Job Title: Compensation Analyst

Are you ready to take your career to new heights? As a Compensation Analyst at American Airlines, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing compensation policies, structures, and practices that align with the company's strategic objectives and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and development of compensation policies, structures, and practices
  • Engage with business leaders to support their strategic talent needs
  • Conduct job evaluations, create/maintain job codes, and write/edit job descriptions as needed
  • Develop and implement annual pay plan reviews for assigned countries
  • Market prices jobs and performs benchmark analyses to determine company competitiveness in the marketplace
  • Effectively analyze and use data to provide critical insights to stakeholders on an ad-hoc basis
  • Develop analyses, recommendations, and implementation of compensation-related activities such as merit planning and administration, salary structure movement, and incentive plan development
  • Examine compensation trends and develop recommendations supporting business initiatives
  • Stay updated on changes in compensation laws and practices across different regions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience/training
  • 3-4 years of compensation experience
  • Work experience in an analytical or quantitative role
  • Preferred qualifications include experience in international and executive compensation, advanced Excel skills, and previous airline industry experience
