As we expand our retail presence, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to take on the role of Retail Operations Leader. In this position, you will be instrumental in crafting a captivating shopping environment that empowers our guests to personalize their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitability by fostering an engaging workplace and shopping experience that reflects our brand values.
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost sales and cultivate customer loyalty through various store initiatives, including community events and design workshops.
  • Assess and enhance the growth of our design service offerings.
  • Lead regular management meetings focused on strategic planning and performance analysis.
  • Enhance management capabilities through effective leadership development and operational training.
  • Exemplify outstanding customer service and ensure your team delivers exceptional experiences while maintaining visual merchandising standards.
  • Oversee hiring, compensation, and scheduling processes.
  • Evaluate team performance and motivate staff through engaging activities and product knowledge sessions.
  • Encourage teamwork by fostering individual development and accountability within the leadership team.
  • Maximize team performance through consistent coaching and feedback.
  • Recruit and onboard new team members, building a strong store culture.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to align on priorities and share insights.
  • Manage payroll forecasting to optimize productivity and meet financial goals.
  • Utilize performance metrics to identify strengths and areas for improvement among team members.
  • Ensure effective loss prevention and inventory management practices.
  • Facilitate team meetings to promote a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred college degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of management experience in a retail or multi-unit environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with a business-minded approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
  • Open to learning and adapting to new methodologies.
  • Physical capability to remain active on the sales floor and lift items up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for store openings.
  • Comfortable with heights and climbing ladders.
  • Consistently friendly and approachable, embodying our customer-centric philosophy.
