This role is eligible for participation in the Guitar Center Company bonus program, contingent on overall Company performance.
The Regional Retail Operations Leader is accountable for the comprehensive retail management within a designated area, delivering guidance and strategic direction to ensure that all facets of the retail operation meet expectations, while creating an exceptional experience for both team members and customers. We seek a visionary business leader with a proven history of success in retail management and field operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesMeeting EBITDA and revenue objectives for the region, encompassing merchandise sales, lessons, repairs, and rental servicesOverseeing and implementing labor strategies within budgetary constraintsEnsuring merchandising strategies are executed according to program specifications, including: GOLD Standard, GOLD Card, EHOTH, and PlanogramsMonitoring customer service feedback (OSAT) and identifying areas for enhancementCollaborating with national Services teams to ensure targets are metRecruiting, developing, and mentoring store managers and potential store manager candidates, while providing insights on all other roles within retail operations that support the Guitar Center Employer of Choice initiativeManaging P&L accountability for the assigned regionAddressing and resolving conflicts within the regionPerforming additional responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of equivalent professional experience)Valid state driver's license and automotive insurance6 years of relevant professional experience in a complex, fast-paced environment5 years of experience in leading teams within a retail settingIntermediate knowledge of retail and music instrument industry operations is preferredIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Advanced understanding of Guitar Center retail systems and processes is preferredAbout Guitar Center
