Strategic Resolution Experts (SRE) is in search of a proficient Senior Staff Accountant to enhance our financial team and oversee the accounting operations of the organization. Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a minimum of six years of experience in government contract accounting are encouraged to consider this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize PROCAS Accounting, Timekeeping, and Expense Reporting Software within a DCAA compliant framework for Government Contractors.
- Accurately and efficiently input contracts, employee details, and accounts payable information.
- Generate financial statements, invoices, and proposals for both government and commercial clientele.
- Support the monthly financial closing process and assist with audit obligations.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and governmental entities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- A decade of accounting experience, with at least six years focused on government contract accounting
- CPA candidacy is preferred
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational capabilities
- Capacity to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is between $68,000 and $100,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package. SRE adheres to all applicable state and federal regulations concerning salary to ensure compliance with labor standards.
Work Environment:
This position primarily allows for remote work, with occasional travel required for designated meetings.
