POSITION OVERVIEW


The Human Resources Manager is tasked with implementing HR policies, procedures, and initiatives in areas such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance evaluation, and employee relations for team members across multiple locations.

This role emphasizes the delivery of HR services that align with employee needs and support organizational success, while ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and operational protocols.


CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience

A degree or equivalent qualification; a minimum of 8 years of experience in human resources, operational management, or a related field.

At least 3 years in a leadership role.

Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws in the region.

Familiarity with labor regulations in neighboring countries is a plus.

Exceptional collaboration and persuasion skills with a proven ability to achieve results.

Highly organized with excellent time management capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Overseeing Recruitment and Hiring

Facilitates the recruitment and selection of candidates with the necessary qualifications, as required.

Establishes and nurtures relationships with external recruitment agencies.

Participates in job fairs and ensures proper documentation of outreach efforts in line with HR Standard Operating Procedures.

Engages with local organizations to identify potential candidates for current or future vacancies.

Supervises the candidate identification and selection process.


Collaborates with external partners to ensure effective advertising strategies are employed for open positions, aiming to attract a diverse pool of applicants.

Conducts quality assurance on candidate selection processes.

Facilitating Employee Development

Supports a comprehensive orientation program for new employees to receive essential training for their roles.

Ensures employees are cross-trained to facilitate smooth daily operations.


Coordinates and leads the new hire orientation program to create a positive initial experience for employees and highlight the significance of guest service within the company culture.

Ensures participation from all new hires and the leadership team in training initiatives.


Works with management to ensure that orientation processes are effectively implemented and that employees receive the necessary training to excel in their roles.

Enhancing Employee Relations

Assists in fostering effective communication channels among employees (e.g., develops daily updates and supports regular meetings).


Reviews documentation related to progressive discipline for accuracy and consistency, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.

Utilizes an open-door policy to address employee concerns promptly.


Ensures that employee issues are directed to the Department Manager for resolution or escalated to the Director of Human Resources as necessary.

Communicates performance expectations clearly in accordance with job descriptions for each role.

Promoting Engagement

Conducts regular engagement sessions with new employees.

Administers annual engagement surveys and formulates action plans to enhance employee satisfaction.

Plans and executes wellness and volunteer events throughout the year to prioritize the physical, mental, and financial well-being of associates.


Champions a positive workplace culture by promoting respect, inclusion, diversity, and encouraging community involvement.

Ensuring Legal and Compliance Standards


Maintains employee files with all required documentation, ensuring performance management and compensation records are securely stored for the mandated duration.

Ensures compliance with procedures for accessing, reviewing, and auditing employee files, adhering to privacy regulations.

Maintains medical records in a separate, secure, and confidential manner.

Communicates company policies and regulations through the employee handbook.


Ensures that all safety and security protocols are regularly communicated to employees through orientation, team meetings, and informational postings.
