Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Lee Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive and compassionate experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to patient inquiries and concerns via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and check-in processes, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and process pre-certifications, referrals, and billing for patient services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to resolve patient-related issues and concerns.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or administrative setting, preferably in customer service or patient relations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
