We are seeking a highly skilled Joint Training Specialist to join our team at Valiant Integrated Services. As a Joint Training Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing joint military capabilities through the use of innovative training and simulation technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Exercise Control Group Operations: Provide expertise in exercise control group operations, controlling the Master Scenario Events List (MSEL), and providing model support simulating operational techniques, tactics, and procedures of maneuver forces using various simulations.
- Models and Simulations: Have knowledge of at least one of the following models and simulations and be able to learn the others: Air Warfare Simulation (AWSIM), Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS), Joint Semi Automated Forces (JSAF), Joint Theater Level Simulation (JTLS), Joint Low Overhead Driver (JLOD), and Low Overhead Training System (LOTS).
- Instructor Controller: Master and give platform instruction as a primary instructor for various simulations, maintaining proficiency in joint and service doctrine, and certification in specified models and simulations.
- MSEL Planner: Prepare the MSEL for joint/combined exercises/events, perform duties as Scenario and/or MSEL Planner during exercise/event planning and execution, and provide instruction in JMSEL operations to members of the Exercise Control Group.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably as a commissioned officer, non-commissioned officer, or DOD civilian equivalent, including 3 years' experience in planning and conducting military training for a service or joint/combined organization.
- Skills: Able to prepare and conduct seminars/work groups, conduct training in large and small groups, conduct post-exercise analysis, and work with Senior Government and Military personnel as well as Contractors from other companies.
- Certifications: Secret Security Clearance is required, and applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet TS/SCI clearance level eligibility requirements for access to classified information and continued employment.
