About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Training and Communication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Health Information Management department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs for our workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs analysis and develop relevant training tools for diverse audiences
  • Design and deliver training content on Epic, HIPAA, electronic health records, and other topics within HIM's sphere of interest
  • Collaborate with department managers to create onboarding training plans and provide focused re-training support as needed
  • Participate in digital training upgrade activities, including training slides, NOVA notes assessment, and Epic Digital Library tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience delivering training, including online and interactive training
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills, especially PowerPoint and Visio
  • Experience interacting with end users, management, and others to gather and understand their training, business, and technical requirements
