Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Project Manager to join our team at Western Specialty Contractors. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production resources of our branch, ensuring the successful execution of projects, and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and plan the production resources of the branch to meet project demands.
  • Oversee and interface with contractors, subcontractors, building owners, and property managers to ensure project success.
  • Manage field personnel, including recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and retaining a high-performing team.
  • Administer and enforce company safety policies and programs to minimize accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to overall branch operating effectiveness by developing and maintaining effective communications with customers, suppliers, union representatives, and company personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all governmental rules and regulations affecting work sites and employees.
  • Provide accurate and timely job information, including daily job logs, job file documentation, and compiling information for billing customers.
  • Accept responsibility for the care, custody, and purchasing of company equipment, material, tools, and other assets.
  • Train employees in proper material and equipment usage, maintenance, and storage.
  • Coordinate and monitor the performance of on-site subcontractors, where appropriate.
  • Provide technical assistance to branch managers and sales personnel with job estimates, as requested.
  • Maintain ethical business conduct.
Requirements
  • Maintains the highest quality on-site customer relations in projecting the image of "Being the Best."
  • Supervises, directs, and coordinates the scheduling and execution of projects in assigned areas.
  • Actively administers and enforces Company safety policy and program to minimize accidents affecting employees, the public, and property.
  • Manages field personnel, including recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and retaining the quality and number of production personnel needed to meet operating demands.
  • Contributes to overall branch operating effectiveness by developing and maintaining effective communications with customers, suppliers, union representatives, and company personnel.
  • Has knowledge/understanding and assures assigned projects comply with all governmental rules and regulations affecting work sites and employees.
  • Contributes to efficient branch operations by supplying accurate and timely job information, including daily job logs, job file documentation, and compiling information for billing the customer.
  • Provides management with earliest possible notification of real and potential job problems.
  • Accepts responsibility for the care, custody, and purchasing of company equipment, material, tools, and other assets as assigned by the branch manager.
  • Trains employees in proper material and equipment usage, maintenance, and storage.
